Scope festival 22 - 30th august 2015
We were delighted to support 2 of our sponsored riders, Sarah Warburton and Adam Cartlidge at Scope Showjumping festival this summer!
Sarah was contesting a strong 1.15m and the Young Riders B&C with her fabulous mare, Beechmount Phoebe, whilst also working at the show! It was a long, tiring week, but Phoebe jumping beautifully every time out and answered every question asked of her without hesitation. The combination nearly reached the 1.15m final, but for a pilot error when Sarah forgot the course! Definitely an oops moment! The week has certainly cemented this pairs blossoming partnership, and we can't wait to see their results over the next few months.
Adam had a very busy week, jumping at least one horse every day (don't forget to thank the groom!) He contested the 1m with Cristiano, 1.10m with Lydia, and 95cm with Cristiano, Lydia and Tinker's Brooke. He also took a lovely young horse, Concert Z, (owned by Mark Holland and Gemma Sargeant) in the 4year old class, and Enzo took the steep learning curve in his stride. Chris, Lydia and Brooke all jumped amazingly and the week was certainly an enjoyable one. Some notable results: Cristiano 19th/150 in 95cm 1st Round. Lydia 19th/100 in 1.10m first round and 8th/100 in 95cm consolation. Adam is hoping to step all 3 up over the coming months, after the confidence that Scope has given them. We are hoping for big things from this young man!
And next up, we have a HUGE announcement....
EPONA EQUESTRIAN HAS GONE INTERNATIONAL!!!
We received our first international order a week before Scope and we hope that this is the first of many. Pictures of the finished stable guards for Lina can be seen on the relevant products page.
